Today (16 May 2025), Pol. Lt. Col. Charoonkiat Pankaew, Deputy Commander of the Central Investigation Bureau, led a team of officers from the Crime Suppression Division, along with officers from the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission, to search Wat Rai Khing, Sam Phran District, Nakhon Pathom Province, and several other areas to search for additional evidence in the case of Mr. Yaem Inthrakrungkao, or former Phra Thammachiranuwat (Yaem Kittintharo), former abbot of Wat Rai Khing, who embezzled temple funds and gambled online for more than 300 million baht.
